Shifts: 40 Hours, 5 Days over 6 (inc. Saturday)

The Role – Despatch Operative

• To ensure that all vehicles are loaded and work is carried out safely
• To ensure that hygiene and cleanliness standards of all personnel and equipment are maintained
• To ensure the customer requirements are met by accurately picking and checking depot orders
• To administer and update all required documentation & records relating to stock control & deliveries
• To ensure that agreed daily cleaning schedules, routines and procedures are strictly adhered to
• Ensure that the wastage of materials, products and services is kept to a minimum

Required Experience

• Verbal communication
• Strong numeracy skills
• Manual handling – ideally within a chilled FMCG environment
• Ability to work well within a team or on own initiative
• Attention to detail
• Desire to learn
